The timings of Kashi Vishwanath Temple are 2:30 AM - 11:00 PM with no darshan from 11:00 AM till 12:30 PM everyday. The best time to come to the temple will be afternoon, post closure of darshan hours, and before evening darshan rush comes due to Ganga Aarti. Visit on Monday and during Shravan month will result in wait even if you plan to come in afternoon.
Mobile phones, cameras, bags etc are not allowed into the sanctum of Kashi Vishwanath and have to be left at the counter before the security check. Bring along an ID proof which might be required during the process of Sugam Darshan entry gate and keep only the essential belongings after entry into the temple complex.
Cover your shoulders and knees at the temple and wear shoes that can be taken off easily as you need to remove the footwear before visiting the temple. From October till March, mornings on the boat and evenings on the ghat are cool enough for a light jacket, while the afternoons remain warm.
At the ghats, expect some uneven stone steps and quite a bit of walking from the boat to the temple and from there to the Dashashwamedh Ghat, which is nothing much. For the elderly, we maintain a slow pace, arrange boat seats in advance and get a Sugam Darshan to reduce the waiting time at the temple.
The general darshan of Kashi Vishwanath is free while Sugam Darshan has a paid entry of ₹250 per person which we take care of prior to your trip. All that is mentioned in the package will be confirmed to you in writing before traveling, and we will not require any advance booking payment from you.

Founder & Pilgrimage Travel Expert
Uttar Pradesh, India
Amit Kumar Deshwal was born in Uttar Pradesh, and the pilgrimage circuit he now plans for a living is the one he grew up around. What began as showing visitors the temples he already knew has become a full travel operation — but the working knowledge underneath it is still first-hand.
More than 15,000 guests have travelled with him. Families, elderly parents, first-time visitors and large temple groups — enough of them, over enough years, that very little surprises him now. He knows which darshan queue is worth joining at seven in the morning, which one is not, and what to do when a temple changes its timings on a festival day without telling anyone.
His ground is Ayodhya and Varanasi, extending west into the Braj circuit of Mathura, Vrindavan and Agra. That range matters more than it sounds: it is the difference between handing a guest an itinerary and being able to say, from having stood there, how long the walk actually takes.
The reason Ayodhya Varanasi Guides exists is a frustration he heard from guests over and over — a different agent for the cab, another for the hotel, a third for the guide, and nobody accountable when a darshan slot fell through. His answer was to put all of it in one place, under one number, with the pricing written down before anyone travels.
Every itinerary on this site is planned or reviewed by Amit and his team, and corrected whenever conditions on the ground change.

It covers a 2 day, 1 night itinerary in Varanasi with all temple visits, the Ganga Aarti and the sunrise boat ride accompanied by a guide who explains the rituals and history in Spanish. The routing, hotel and transport are the same as a standard package — the difference is the language of interpretation, which matters at Kashi Vishwanath where the priests and signage are only in Hindi or English.
Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport (VNS) at Babatpur is about 25 to 26 km from the ghats and old city, and the drive typically takes 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. Traffic gets noticeably heavier in the last stretch through the old city lanes, so private transfers are timed with a buffer rather than a fixed pickup slot.
The temple opens at 2:30 AM and closes at 11:00 PM, with general darshan free but queues running 1 to 3 hours on a normal day and longer on Mondays or during Shravan. Sugam (VIP) Darshan costs ₹250 per person and cuts the wait to 15 to 30 minutes, and this package books it in advance rather than at the counter.
Yes, the evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat is included and starts around 6:30 PM. We recommend arriving by 6:00 PM to get a ghat-side seat; arriving at 6:30 usually means watching from several rows back or opting for a boat instead, which many travelers end up preferring for the view.
Yes, the boat ride at dawn passes Manikarnika, the cremation ghat where fires burn continuously, and commentary there is kept brief and respectful. Some travelers find this stretch emotionally difficult rather than picturesque, and photography is discouraged out of respect for grieving families.
Sarnath, where Buddha delivered his first sermon, is included on day two and is roughly 40 minutes by road from central Varanasi. It's a shorter stop than the temple and ghat visits, usually covered before lunch on the second day.
The Spanish speaking guide and local team handle Sugam Darshan booking through the official temple portal in advance, so travelers don't need to register separately. This avoids the common mistake of buying tickets from unofficial WhatsApp agents, who often overcharge or issue invalid slots.
Hotels range from Budget to 5-Star, all located close to the ghats since Varanasi's old-city lanes limit vehicle access near the river regardless of hotel rating. The Spanish speaking guide accompanies the group through the full itinerary at every hotel category without additional charge.
Two days covers the essentials — Kashi Vishwanath, Ganga Aarti, the sunrise boat ride and Sarnath — but it is a tight schedule and most travelers leave wishing for more time at the ghats themselves. Anyone wanting a slower pace or additional temples like Sankat Mochan or Durga Temple should consider extending to 3 days.
October to March is the recommended window, with cooler mornings that make the sunrise boat ride and the walk to Dashashwamedh Ghat more comfortable. Summer months bring intense heat by midday, and the monsoon season can disrupt boat rides when the Ganga's water level rises.
Yes, modest clothing covering shoulders and knees is expected, and leather items, mobile phones and cameras are typically not allowed inside the sanctum — these are deposited at a counter near the entrance. Security checks are strict given the temple's location beside the Gyanvapi Mosque complex.
The guide explains the significance of each ritual, including the Ganga Aarti's fire and lamp sequence, in Spanish as it happens, not just as a pre-briefing. This works better for questions travelers have in the moment, such as why specific gestures or chants occur during the ceremony.
Darshan pauses completely during the temple's aarti windows, including an 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM closure, so a late landing can push the visit to early evening instead. The itinerary is built with some flexibility for this, but travelers on tight connecting flights should flag their arrival time in advance.
The temple queue and ghat steps involve walking and standing, which can be demanding for elderly travelers, though Sugam Darshan reduces wait time significantly. The boat ride itself is seated and low-effort, and hotels close to the ghats minimize the amount of walking required between stops.
Child pricing with an extra bed applies to children up to around 11 years sharing a room with two adults, and rates are lower without an extra bed on request. The Spanish speaking guide's service is built into the per-person package price across all hotel categories, with no separate guide fee.
Essential Information
Refunds are calculated based on the cancellation date relative to your travel date, as per the slabs mentioned in our cancellation policy below. Once a refund is approved, the amount is processed back to your original payment method within 7 to 10 working days. Any non-refundable components, such as pre-booked Sugam Darshan tickets already confirmed with the temple trust, will be deducted before the refund is issued. We keep you informed in writing at every stage of the refund process.
Cancellations made 15 days or more before the travel date are free of charge, with a full refund minus any non-refundable bookings already made. Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before travel attract a charge of 50% of the package cost. Cancellations made within 7 days of travel, or no-shows, are non-refundable, since hotel and guide arrangements are confirmed and paid for by then. Date changes, where possible, are handled separately and are often a simpler option than cancelling.
A booking is confirmed once we receive 25% of the total package cost as advance payment. On confirmation, you will receive a written booking voucher covering your hotel, guide and transport details, along with Sugam Darshan ticket confirmation once booked. All vouchers and tickets are shared over email and WhatsApp at least 2 to 3 days before your travel date.
We accept payment via bank transfer, UPI, credit or debit card, and major digital wallets. The advance amount confirms your booking, and the balance is payable before or on arrival, as agreed at the time of confirmation. GST is charged as applicable and will be clearly shown in your invoice. We never ask for full advance payment before sharing written confirmation of your booking.

Travel Plan
Our schedule begins in the late morning, once planes and trains have made their way and the group checks into the hotels that are near the ghats, where proximity becomes more important than the stars of the hotels, since it is harder to move around the narrow alleys of Varanasi by car. After lunch, I take the group to Kashi Vishwanath Temple in the afternoon, where we arrive between the mid-day aarti and evening rush, which is when there is no massive line and we can avoid waiting for hours. Sugam Darshan (paid queue) requires 250 INR and saves time compared to the free one. I always book it before going to the temple, since the counter line goes slower than the online booking system. I explain the significance of the Jyotirlinga while the group waits in Spanish, which usually means that people start feeling comfortable about the tour. We reach Dashashwamedh Ghat at 6 PM for Ganga Aarti, come by 6 PM, but not by 6:30, or you'll end up at the back of the crowd in fifteen lines, or even better, on the boat that is rented. You'll have dinner near the ghat and sleep in Varanasi.
We are out on the river by 5:45 in the morning when it’s still cool and before any tourists arrive – there is only one strict early morning start during the tour, and I warn people about it the previous evening. The boat passes by the ghat of Manikarnika where funeral pyres are burning constantly; I keep comments polite and short – and some tourists find it disturbing rather than pretty, which is true – not everyone likes this and photography is not recommended here. We have breakfast and then take a 40-minute drive to Sarnath where Buddha gave his first sermon, after which we return and leave for lunch and departure. Two days are not enough for Varanasi – you will want to spend more time at the ghats – but for Varanasi Tour Package with Spanish Speaking Guide, this schedule fits.

Pricing
The cost of the Varanasi Tour Package With Spanish Speaking Guide is dependent upon hotel category as that makes up the major cost in a 2-day tour. The temple visits included in all packages are Kashi Vishwanath darshan, Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat and a boat trip during sunrise. The only thing that varies from one package to the other is the comfort of the room, proximity to the ghats and the facilities provided.
Hotel Category | Per Person (Double Sharing) | Per Person (Single) | Child (with bed) |
|---|---|---|---|
Budget | ₹8,500 | ₹11,999 | ₹6,999 |

The cost for single accommodation will be higher because there won’t be another person splitting the cost of the room. Children’s prices in a double room with extra bed will apply to children below the age of eleven traveling with two adults; without extra bed, cheaper prices will apply on request. The Spanish guide travels along with the tourists through all hotels free of charge.
