Kashi Vishwanath Temple opens from 2:30 AM to 11:00 PM but there is a gap of two and half hours in which there is no darshan i.e. 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM each day. Try to come to the temple by early afternoon on first day when midday gap ends and there is still no evening rush before Ganga Aarti; Monday or Shravan month visit would mean long waiting anyway.
Use of phones, cameras and bags is not permitted inside the sanctum at Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Deposit phones, cameras and bags at the counter outside the security check of the temple. Make sure to carry a photo ID with you because it might be needed at the Sugam Darshan gate and you should carry only the essentials with you while taking the boat and having the aarti.
It is necessary to cover your shoulders and knees at the temple and wear the easy-to-remove footwear because you have to remove shoes before entering the sanctum. During October to March morning ride is not very hot and you can wear a light jacket on 5:45 AM sunrise ride. In the evening at Dashashwamedh Ghat the weather is quite comfortable to have the aarti.
There are many uneven stones stairs at the ghats and a lot of walking between the boat, the temple and Dashashwamedh Ghat which is spread over two days at a comfortable pace rather than squeezed in one day. For senior citizens we book their seating in the boat in advance, maintain a slow pace on the ghat and use Sugam Darshan facility at the temple.
The general darshan at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple is free whereas Sugam Darshan ticket is of ₹250 per person which is booked in advance for you. Everything in the package is assured to you in written form before the travel and we do not ask for any advance booking charges.

Founder & Pilgrimage Travel Expert
Uttar Pradesh, India
Amit Kumar Deshwal was born in Uttar Pradesh, and the pilgrimage circuit he now plans for a living is the one he grew up around. What began as showing visitors the temples he already knew has become a full travel operation — but the working knowledge underneath it is still first-hand.
More than 15,000 guests have travelled with him. Families, elderly parents, first-time visitors and large temple groups — enough of them, over enough years, that very little surprises him now. He knows which darshan queue is worth joining at seven in the morning, which one is not, and what to do when a temple changes its timings on a festival day without telling anyone.
His ground is Ayodhya and Varanasi, extending west into the Braj circuit of Mathura, Vrindavan and Agra. That range matters more than it sounds: it is the difference between handing a guest an itinerary and being able to say, from having stood there, how long the walk actually takes.
The reason Ayodhya Varanasi Guides exists is a frustration he heard from guests over and over — a different agent for the cab, another for the hotel, a third for the guide, and nobody accountable when a darshan slot fell through. His answer was to put all of it in one place, under one number, with the pricing written down before anyone travels.
Every itinerary on this site is planned or reviewed by Amit and his team, and corrected whenever conditions on the ground change.

It covers 2 days and 1 night in Varanasi with Kashi Vishwanath darshan, the evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat and a dedicated sunrise boat ride, all guided in Spanish. Splitting these across two days lets the boat ride and the aarti each get proper time instead of being rushed into one day.
The sunrise boat ride and the evening Ganga Aarti happen roughly twelve hours apart, so fitting both into one day means very little rest and a lot of rushing between stops. Spreading it across two days also leaves a slow morning on the ghats after the boat ride, which a one-day tour simply doesn't allow.
The temple opens at 2:30 AM and closes at 11:00 PM daily, with darshan pausing completely between 11:00 AM and 12:30 PM. General darshan is free but queues can run 3 to 5 hours, while Sugam Darshan costs ₹250 per person and cuts the wait to 15 to 30 minutes.
The Ganga Aarti starts around 6:30 PM on day one, and we recommend arriving by 6:00 PM to get a proper ghat-side view. Arriving even thirty minutes late usually means watching from well behind the crowd, or not seeing much of the ceremony at all.
Yes, the sunrise boat ride on day two passes Manikarnika, the cremation ghat, where fires burn continuously. Commentary is kept brief and respectful, and it's normal for some travelers to find this stretch emotionally heavy rather than scenic.
This package includes one dedicated sunrise boat ride on day two, timed for calm water and cooler weather before 6 AM. Day one focuses instead on Kashi Vishwanath darshan and the evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat.
The Spanish speaking guide and local team book Sugam Darshan through the official temple portal in advance, so you don't need to register separately. This also avoids the common mistake of buying tickets from unofficial agents who often overcharge.
Hotels range from Budget to 5-Star, all located close to the ghats since the old city's narrow lanes limit vehicle access regardless of hotel rating. The Spanish speaking guide accompanies the group through both days at every hotel category without additional charge.
Yes, it covers the two experiences most first-time visitors want most — the temple and the Ganga Aarti — plus a proper sunrise boat ride, without adding destinations like Sarnath that stretch the schedule. It works well as a focused introduction to the city.
October to March is the recommended window, with cooler mornings that make the 5:45 AM boat ride far more comfortable. Summer heat by afternoon can make the rest of the day tiring, though the core activities are timed around it.
Modest clothing covering shoulders and knees is expected, and phones, cameras and leather items are not allowed inside the sanctum — these are deposited at a counter near the entrance. Security checks are strict given the temple's location beside the Gyanvapi Mosque complex.
Darshan pauses completely during the temple's aarti windows, including the 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM closure, so a late landing can push the temple visit closer to evening. The itinerary has some flexibility here since day two's boat ride is unaffected either way.
The temple queue and ghat walking can be demanding, though Sugam Darshan reduces standing time significantly and the boat ride itself is seated with minimal effort. Splitting the boat ride and aarti across two days also means less walking and standing packed into a single day.
Child pricing with an extra bed applies to children up to around 11 years sharing a room with two adults, with lower rates available without an extra bed on request. The Spanish speaking guide's service is included in the per-person package price across all hotel categories, with no separate guide fee.
This package is built specifically around the boat ride and Ganga Aarti experience, but Sarnath and additional temples like Sankat Mochan or Durga Temple can be added on request. Travelers wanting a broader Varanasi circuit should ask about the 3-day Varanasi Sarnath package instead.
Essential Information
Refunds are calculated based on the cancellation date relative to your travel date, as per the slabs mentioned in our below. Once a refund is approved, the amount is processed back to your original payment method within 7 to 10 working days. Any non-refundable components, such as pre-booked Sugam Darshan tickets already confirmed with the temple trust, will be deducted before the refund is issued. We keep you informed in writing at every stage of the refund process.
Cancellations made 15 days or more before the travel date are free of charge, with a full refund minus any non-refundable bookings already made. Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before travel attract a charge of 50% of the package cost. Cancellations made within 7 days of travel, or no-shows, are non-refundable, since hotel, boat and guide arrangements are confirmed and paid for by then. Date changes, where possible, are handled separately and are often a simpler option than cancelling.
A booking is confirmed once we receive 25% of the total package cost as advance payment. On confirmation, you will receive a written booking voucher covering your hotel, guide, boat and transport details for both days, along with Sugam Darshan ticket confirmation once booked. All vouchers and tickets are shared over email and WhatsApp at least 2 to 3 days before your travel date.
We accept payment via bank transfer, UPI, credit or debit card, and major digital wallets. The advance amount confirms your booking, and the balance is payable before or on arrival, as agreed at the time of confirmation. GST is charged as applicable and will be clearly shown in your invoice. We never ask for full advance payment before sharing written confirmation of your booking.

Travel Plan
First, we set out after lunch when everybody is already landed and accommodated in the hotel near the ghats — always my preference, as the roads of old Varanasi by the river are too narrow for cars. And by the afternoon, we are already in Kashi Vishwanath, catching the time period after the closure of the temple during the day (11 AM - 12:30 PM) but before the crowds for evening. I arrange Sugam Darshan in advance for ₹250 per person – there is a free line which lasts between three to five hours, and it is definitely not how I want you to spend your first day of vacation. During the time of waiting, my guide tells you the story of Jyotirlinga in Spanish, which is easier for you than to read the information beforehand. And by six, we go to the Dashashwamedh Ghat to see Ganga Aarti. We are to be there before 6 PM – even half an hour late means looking at the ceremony from the fifteenth row. Dinner is close to us; you are sleeping in Varanasi.
This is the time when the package gets its name. We leave the shore by 5:45 AM in order to avoid the heat and the tour ships, gliding past Manikarnika where the cremation fire burns non-stop; I try to make my comments short and informative there, and I want to say right now that this part might be quite disturbing for some tourists instead of being inspiring, but it is absolutely fine and there is no need to feel ashamed of it. After the boat ride, unlike in case with the one-day package, we walk leisurely along the ghats toward the hotel, taking all the time that we need, stopping everywhere where our group members wish; these calm moments are something that the single-day tour cannot offer at all. Breakfast takes place late in the morning, around 9 AM, while the late morning is left for resting because the afternoons are usually very hot for sightseeing all through the year. That is how the Ganga Aarti and Boat Ride Tour Package with Spanish Speaking Guide differs from other packages.

Pricing
Prices for Ganga Aarti and Boat Ride Tour Package with Spanish Speaking Guide will differ depending on the category of the hotels as the accommodation forms the largest component of cost during the entire one day stay. All the categories have the same tour package which involves Kashi Vishwanath darshan, morning boat ride and the evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat; the only difference lies in the comfort of the rooms and their closeness to ghats.
Hotel Category | Per Person (Double Sharing) | Per Person (Single) | Child (with bed) |
|---|---|---|---|
Budget | ₹8,999 | ₹12,499 | ₹6,999 |
Standard | ₹10,499 | ₹14,999 | ₹8,299 |
3-Star | ₹13,499 | ₹18,999 | ₹10,499 |
4-Star | ₹17,499 | ₹24,999 | ₹13,499 |
5-Star | ₹23,999 | ₹34,999 | ₹18,499 |
Since the room cost is not shared by two people, single accommodation is costlier for each person. If child fare plus bed is considered, then that is for the kids up to 11 years staying in the same room along with two adults; if bed is not required, then lower charges are available on request. The Spanish speaking guide will accompany the group throughout their stay in the hotel free of cost.
