Founder & Pilgrimage Travel Expert
Uttar Pradesh, India
Amit Kumar Deshwal was born in Uttar Pradesh, and the pilgrimage circuit he now plans for a living is the one he grew up around. What began as showing visitors the temples he already knew has become a full travel operation — but the working knowledge underneath it is still first-hand.
More than 15,000 guests have travelled with him. Families, elderly parents, first-time visitors and large temple groups — enough of them, over enough years, that very little surprises him now. He knows which darshan queue is worth joining at seven in the morning, which one is not, and what to do when a temple changes its timings on a festival day without telling anyone.
His ground is Ayodhya and Varanasi, extending west into the Braj circuit of Mathura, Vrindavan and Agra. That range matters more than it sounds: it is the difference between handing a guest an itinerary and being able to say, from having stood there, how long the walk actually takes.
The reason Ayodhya Varanasi Guides exists is a frustration he heard from guests over and over — a different agent for the cab, another for the hotel, a third for the guide, and nobody accountable when a darshan slot fell through. His answer was to put all of it in one place, under one number, with the pricing written down before anyone travels.
Every itinerary on this site is planned or reviewed by Amit and his team, and corrected whenever conditions on the ground change.

The package generally includes hotel accommodation, daily breakfast, private transfers, sightseeing as per the itinerary, Ayodhya and Varanasi temple visits, Sarnath sightseeing, and assistance from the tour representative. Ram Mandir, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Ganga Aarti, and major attractions are covered according to the selected itinerary and package inclusions.
The tour covers the three major spiritual destinations of Ayodhya, Varanasi, and Sarnath. Key attractions include Ram Mandir, Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhawan, Ram Ki Paidi, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Dashashwamedh Ghat, Assi Ghat, Ganga Aarti, Dhamek Stupa, Sarnath Archaeological Site, and Sarnath Museum.
This is a 5 days / 4 nights pilgrimage tour package. The itinerary generally includes 1 night in Ayodhya and 3 nights in Varanasi, although the exact hotel arrangement can be customised according to your travel schedule.
Yes, Ram Mandir is one of the primary attractions covered during the Ayodhya sightseeing portion of the tour. The visit is planned according to the day's itinerary, but darshan and entry procedures are subject to the temple's current rules, crowd conditions, and applicable arrangements.
Yes, the itinerary includes a visit to Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi. Since the temple can experience heavy crowds, especially during festivals and peak pilgrimage periods, the actual darshan time may depend on the temple's operating schedule and prevailing crowd conditions.
Yes, the itinerary includes the famous Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. The ceremony is generally held around sunset, but the exact timing can change according to the season and local arrangements. Your tour schedule can be adjusted to allow sufficient time for reaching the ghat.
Sarnath is generally covered as a dedicated sightseeing excursion rather than requiring an entire day. You can visit important attractions such as Dhamek Stupa, Sarnath Archaeological Site, Sarnath Museum, and other significant Buddhist heritage sites before returning to Varanasi.
Accommodation can be selected according to your preferred budget. The package can be arranged with Budget, Standard, 3-Star, 4-Star, or 5-Star hotels. Hotel availability, room category, location, and final pricing may vary depending on travel dates, occupancy, and seasonal demand.
Private transportation can be arranged for airport or railway station pickups, intercity transfers, temple visits, and sightseeing according to the selected package. The vehicle type generally depends on the number of travellers and package category, helping make travel between Ayodhya, Varanasi, and Sarnath more convenient.
October to March is generally considered comfortable for sightseeing because the weather is comparatively pleasant. However, pilgrims also travel throughout the year for religious occasions and festivals. If you plan to visit during Ram Navami, Diwali, Dev Deepawali, or other major festivals, advance booking is recommended because crowds and hotel demand can be significantly higher.
Yes, senior citizens can join the tour, but some temples and ghats involve walking, stairs, narrow lanes, or standing in queues. The itinerary can be planned at a relaxed pace where possible. Travellers should inform the tour planner about mobility requirements in advance so that suitable transportation and sightseeing arrangements can be considered.
Yes, the itinerary can be customised according to your group's travel dates, arrival and departure points, hotel preference, sightseeing requirements, and preferred pace. Families may also request changes to the number of nights in Ayodhya or Varanasi, additional sightseeing, or upgraded accommodation, subject to availability and additional charges.
The standard package generally includes breakfast at the hotel. Lunch and dinner may be arranged separately depending on the selected package and inclusions. Travellers can also explore local vegetarian food in Ayodhya and Varanasi, including traditional North Indian and regional dishes.
For a smooth experience, arriving in Ayodhya in the morning or early afternoon on Day 1 is recommended so that there is enough time for hotel check-in and sightseeing. Departure from Varanasi on Day 5 should ideally be scheduled after completing the morning activities. The itinerary can be adjusted according to your train or flight timings.
This tour combines three important spiritual and cultural destinations in one carefully planned journey. It gives travellers time to experience Ram Mandir and Ayodhya's sacred temples, Kashi Vishwanath and the spiritual ghats of Varanasi, and Sarnath's Buddhist heritage without rushing through the major attractions. It is suitable for families, couples, senior citizens, and pilgrims looking for a convenient multi-city spiritual journey.
