Kashi Vishwanath Temple opens up at 2:30 am and closes down at 11:00 pm, except that there is no darshan from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm daily. It is advisable to visit the temple around the afternoon time on the first day after the closure period and before the evening rush hours of Ganga Aarti; a visit on a Monday or Shravan month is bound to involve longer wait times irrespective of the visiting time.
Mobiles, cameras and bags are not allowed in the sanctum of Kashi Vishwanath, and have to be handed over to the counter at the entrance to undergo the security check. Carry your photo identity proof as it may be asked while passing through the Sugam Darshan gate, and carry minimum luggage at both the temple and at Sarnath.
Make sure you cover your shoulders and knees at the temple. Choose your footwear accordingly as you would need to take off your shoes before entering the temple. From October to March, morning time on the boat and evening at the ghat would make light jackets comfortable, but afternoon times would be warm enough to make provision for rest time on the second day.
The ghats have uneven stone steps, so be prepared for some walking between the boat, the temple, the old city lanes and Sarnath in three days at a reasonable pace instead of packing all activities in just two days. Senior citizens visit involves reduced walking and pacing, arrangement of seating arrangement in advance on the boat and Sugam Darshan facility to save waiting time at the temple.
Darshan of Kashi Vishwanath is free for general visitors while the Sugam Darshan costs ₹250 per head which we make the arrangements for you in advance, along with the entry fee at the Sarnath museum. Every detail about the package is informed in advance in writing and we do not ask for any advance payment for booking confirmation.

Founder & Pilgrimage Travel Expert
Uttar Pradesh, India
Amit Kumar Deshwal was born in Uttar Pradesh, and the pilgrimage circuit he now plans for a living is the one he grew up around. What began as showing visitors the temples he already knew has become a full travel operation — but the working knowledge underneath it is still first-hand.
More than 15,000 guests have travelled with him. Families, elderly parents, first-time visitors and large temple groups — enough of them, over enough years, that very little surprises him now. He knows which darshan queue is worth joining at seven in the morning, which one is not, and what to do when a temple changes its timings on a festival day without telling anyone.
His ground is Ayodhya and Varanasi, extending west into the Braj circuit of Mathura, Vrindavan and Agra. That range matters more than it sounds: it is the difference between handing a guest an itinerary and being able to say, from having stood there, how long the walk actually takes.
The reason Ayodhya Varanasi Guides exists is a frustration he heard from guests over and over — a different agent for the cab, another for the hotel, a third for the guide, and nobody accountable when a darshan slot fell through. His answer was to put all of it in one place, under one number, with the pricing written down before anyone travels.
Every itinerary on this site is planned or reviewed by Amit and his team, and corrected whenever conditions on the ground change.

It covers 3 days and 2 nights in Varanasi with Kashi Vishwanath darshan, the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, a sunrise boat ride and a visit to Sarnath, all guided in Spanish. The extra day compared to the 2-day package allows a slower pace at the ghats and a walk through the old city lanes rather than a rushed schedule.
Sarnath is about 10 km from central Varanasi and the drive typically takes around 40 minutes depending on traffic. We usually allow half a day, including time at the Dhamek Stupa and the museum, without rushing the visit.
The temple opens at 2:30 AM and closes at 11:00 PM daily, with darshan pausing completely between 11:00 AM and 12:30 PM. General darshan is free but queues can run 3 to 5 hours, while Sugam Darshan costs ₹250 per person and cuts the wait to 15 to 30 minutes.
Yes, the evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat is included on day one and starts around 6:30 PM. We recommend reaching by 6:00 PM, since arriving even thirty minutes late usually means watching from far behind the crowd.
Yes, the boat ride at dawn on day two passes Manikarnika, the cremation ghat, where fires burn continuously through the day and night. Commentary is kept brief and respectful, and some travelers find the experience emotionally heavy rather than picturesque, which is a normal reaction.
The extra day is spent on a slower walk through the old city lanes near Vishwanath Gali and optional stops at temples like Sankat Mochan or Durga Temple, rather than adding new cities. It gives the group time to rest during the afternoon heat instead of moving from one stop straight to the next.
The Spanish speaking guide and local team book Sugam Darshan through the official temple portal in advance, so you don't need to register separately. This also avoids the common mistake of buying tickets from unofficial agents who often overcharge.
Hotels range from Budget to 5-Star, all located close to the ghats since the old city's narrow lanes limit vehicle access regardless of hotel rating. The Spanish speaking guide accompanies the group through the full 3-day itinerary at every hotel category without additional charge.
Three days covers the ghats, Kashi Vishwanath, the sunrise boat ride and Sarnath at a comfortable pace, with room for a genuine walk through the old city rather than a checklist visit. It is still a focused itinerary, so travelers wanting more temples or a Prayagraj extension should ask about longer packages.
October to March is the recommended window, with cooler mornings that make the sunrise boat ride and evening ghat walks more comfortable. Summer afternoons get intense enough that we build in rest time between 1 PM and 4 PM most days.
Modest clothing covering shoulders and knees is expected, and phones, cameras and leather items are not allowed inside the sanctum — these are deposited at a counter near the entrance. Security checks are strict given the temple's location beside the Gyanvapi Mosque complex.
Yes, the Spanish speaking guide covers Sarnath's Buddhist history in the same detail as the Varanasi temples, including the significance of Buddha's first sermon at this site. This continuity across all three days is part of what distinguishes this package from a generic city tour.
Darshan pauses completely during the temple's aarti windows, including the 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM closure, so a late landing usually pushes the temple visit to early evening instead. The 3-day itinerary has more flexibility to absorb this than the 2-day version, since day two and three remain unaffected.
The temple queue and ghat steps involve walking and standing, which the extra day helps offset by spreading activity across three days instead of two. Sugam Darshan reduces temple wait time significantly, and the boat ride itself is seated with minimal physical effort.
Child pricing with an extra bed applies to children up to around 11 years sharing a room with two adults, with lower rates available without an extra bed on request. The Spanish speaking guide's service is included in the per-person package price across all hotel categories, with no separate guide fee.
Essential Information
Refunds are calculated based on the cancellation date relative to your travel date, as per the slabs mentioned in our below. Once a refund is approved, the amount is processed back to your original payment method within 7 to 10 working days. Any non-refundable components, such as pre-booked Sugam Darshan tickets already confirmed with the temple trust, will be deducted before the refund is issued. We keep you informed in writing at every stage of the refund process.
Cancellations made 15 days or more before the travel date are free of charge, with a full refund minus any non-refundable bookings already made. Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before travel attract a charge of 50% of the package cost. Cancellations made within 7 days of travel, or no-shows, are non-refundable, since hotel and guide arrangements are confirmed and paid for by then. Date changes, where possible, are handled separately and are often a simpler option than cancelling.
A booking is confirmed once we receive 25% of the total package cost as advance payment. On confirmation, you will receive a written booking voucher covering your hotel, guide and transport details for all three days, along with Sugam Darshan ticket confirmation once booked. All vouchers and tickets are shared over email and WhatsApp at least 2 to 3 days before your travel date.
We accept payment via bank transfer, UPI, credit or debit card, and major digital wallets. The advance amount confirms your booking, and the balance is payable before or on arrival, as agreed at the time of confirmation. GST is charged as applicable and will be clearly shown in your invoice. We never ask for full advance payment before sharing written confirmation of your booking.

Travel Plan
We start out right after lunch, after everyone has arrived at the hotel, situated near the ghats. It's always important for me to choose proximity above any hotel star rating here, as the old town streets will be too narrow for cars in the last few miles, and ten minutes' walk is always better than a forty-minute ride in traffic. Around early afternoon we arrive at the Kashi Vishwanath temple, where we specifically try to arrive during the time when it is closed (from 11 AM to 12:30 PM). I make sure to pre-book Sugam Darshan tickets at ₹250 per person – otherwise, one will have to queue in a free lane for three to five hours. The guide explains the history of Jyotirlinga in Spanish during the waiting time, and usually, that is more effective than brochures would be for calming down the group. We arrive at Dashashwamedh Ghat by 6 PM (being thirty minutes later means not being able to watch the aarti), having walked for five minutes. We eat our dinner nearby, then sleep in Varanasi.
Today is when the extra time comes into play. By 5:45 AM, we are already on the Ganges, avoiding the heat and the crowds from the tourist boats, sailing past Manikarnika where funeral pyres burn day and night – I will keep the explanation very straightforward here and I will be honest in saying that many people will find this part heavy more than beautiful; that is a natural reaction and not an error of the tour. Later after breakfast, we won't rush to the next destination but rather will take our time walking the streets of the ancient city around Vishwanath Gali, something that is impossible to do on the shortened two-day version of the tour. In the afternoon, we have free time as the heat of 1 to 4 PM usually does not allow for sightseeing during those months.
Our destination is Sarnath by noon and within 40 minutes we will be at Dhamek Stupa, where the Buddha gave his first sermon, a quiet experience that makes for an interesting change from the hustle of the ghats. The Sarnath museum can take thirty minutes if time permits and if the group doesn’t have a plane to catch. We will be back in Varanasi by the late afternoon, having one last lunch before leaving. Three days will give us sufficient time to explore Varanasi in our own pace, which is actually the purpose of choosing the 3 Days Varanasi Sarnath Tour Package with Spanish Speaking Guide.

Pricing
The prices for the 3 Days Varanasi Sarnath Tour Package with Spanish Speaking Guide depend on the hotel category because the hotel stays contribute majorly to the cost during the two nights. All the hotel categories have the same itinerary that is darshan of Kashi Vishwanath temple, Ganga Aarti, sunrise boat ride, and Sarnath visit, but there is a difference in terms of comfort, distance from the ghats, and facilities provided in the hotels. Below are the prices for the double sharing, single, and child with extra bed.
Hotel Category | Per Person (Double Sharing) | Per Person (Single) | Child (with bed) |
|---|---|---|---|
Budget | ₹12,999 | ₹17,999 | ₹9,999 |
Standard | ₹14,999 | ₹20,999 | ₹11,499 |
3-Star | ₹18,499 | ₹25,999 | ₹13,999 |
4-Star | ₹23,999 | ₹33,999 | ₹17,999 |
5-Star | ₹31,999 | ₹46,999 | ₹23,999 |
Single accommodation is expensive per individual because the cost of the room will not be shared by two people. Children with extra bed rate applies for children aged 11 years who will share a room with two adults; when there is no extra bed, lower prices can be requested. There is a Spanish speaking guide who will accompany the group in all hotels free of charge.
